The company designs complex System-on-a-Chip architectures integrating analog, mixed-signal, and digital signal processing. In August 2025, Marvell divested its automotive Ethernet business to Infineon for $2.5B. It subsequently acquired Celestial AI—a photonic interconnect platform provider—for approximately $1.3B cash plus stock, and XConn Technologies—a PCIe and CXL switching silicon provider—for approximately $280M cash plus stock, to accelerate its AI and cloud data center connectivity strategy.
