In fiscal 2024, Home Depot acquired SRS, a residential specialty trade distributor operating across roofing, landscape, and pool supply verticals. SRS subsequently acquired GMS — a specialty building products distributor covering drywall, ceilings, and steel framing — in fiscal 2025, giving SRS over 1,250 locations across the U.S. and Canada organized into four lines of business. Home Depot's growth strategy focuses on serving professional contractors, delivering an interconnected in-store and digital customer experience, and leveraging its scale and supply chain.
