Huntington Bancshares is a multi-state diversified regional bank holding company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio, providing full-service commercial and consumer banking, payments, mortgage banking, investment banking, capital markets, equipment financing, investment management, trust, brokerage, and insurance services through its subsidiary Huntington National Bank. As of December 31, 2025, it operated more than 1,000 branches in 14 states.
Huntington executed two significant acquisitions: it completed the purchase of Veritex Holdings in October 2025 for approximately $1.7 billion, adding $12.0 billion in assets and $10.5 billion in deposits; and completed the acquisition of Cadence Bank on February 1, 2026 in an all-stock transaction valued at approximately $8.1 billion, adding $54 billion in assets. Following the Cadence merger, the combined institution operates nearly 1,400 branches across 21 states.
