General Mills is a leading global manufacturer and marketer of branded consumer foods with more than 100 brands sold in 100 countries across six continents. Its four operating segments are North America Retail, International, North America Pet, and North America Foodservice. Core product categories include snacks, ready-to-eat cereal, convenient meals, pet food, refrigerated and frozen dough, baking mixes, yogurt, and super-premium ice cream. The company sells through grocery stores, mass merchandisers, membership stores, foodservice distributors, and e-commerce retailers, primarily via a direct sales force. Walmart accounted for 22% of consolidated net sales in fiscal 2025. General Mills also holds 50% interests in two joint ventures: Cereal Partners Worldwide (with Nestlé, competing in ready-to-eat cereal outside North America) and Häagen-Dazs Japan.
